Outdoor Icons Lead New Online Education Community

Immersive Platform, Crux Academy, Aims to Turn Your Daydreams into Dream Days

BOULDER, Colorado – Today, Crux Academy is proud to unveil its immersive online education community built for outdoor adventurers. The brand’s initial course offerings feature decorated athletes and professionals including: Rock Climbing and Bouldering with Nina Williams, Adventure Trip Planning with Brody Leven, Fly Fishing with Maddie Brenneman, Public Lands Education with Dr. Len Necefer, and coming soon: Backcountry Skiing with Chris Davenport, Avalanche Awareness with Noah Howell, and Trail Running with Fernanda Maciel.

Dedicated to elevating outdoor experiences, Crux Academy’s comprehensive courses are led by world-class outdoor athletes and icons from various disciplines. In addition to the aforementioned topics, courses will include everything from, but not limited to: Skiing, Snowboarding, Avalanche Awareness and Safety, Climate Activism, Mountain Biking, Surfing, Whitewater Kayaking, Backpacking, Mountaineering, and more. Inclusive of all abilities and skill levels, Crux Academy’s high-quality content is designed for beginners, enthusiasts and experts alike.

Crux Academy courses help users through tiered chapters and lessons using an intuitive teaching style. Each instructor offers multiple hours of high-quality video content, exclusive education and pro tips, and live Q&A sessions Crux members can also engage with one another in community forums and events—encouraging connectivity with other like-minded adventurers and professionals.

Users are able to access individual courses of their choice for just $49 per course or utilize unlimited access to Crux Academy’s content for an annual cost of $119 per year.

In addition to promoting environmental advocacy throughout its courses, 1% of all Crux Academy sales go directly to organizations fighting climate change, including Protect Our Winters and The Honnold Foundation.
